Description:
This trek has been, one of the most favorite trek
among trekkers for a long time because of Beautiful
Valley of Markha overshadowed by Kanyatse and other
groups of Peaks. The numerous small villages, shepherds
camps and passes are main feature of this trek. The trek
begins from Spituk monastery or Stok village passing
through Stok La and Gandala Pass, which takes you across
Markha valley. At last it crosses Kongmaru Pass and
finishes wonderful trek at the famous Hemis monastery.

Description:
Around 6 days trek from Henaskut to Wanla starts
from Henaskut around 160 Kms. from Leh near Leh-Srinagar
highway in Kargil district. There are many passes Like
Yogmala (4900 meters.), Niyigutse La (5,100 mtrs.) and
Pirkiting La (3,700 mtrs.) and it finishes at Lamayuru,
where the oldest monastery in Ladakh is located, around
125 Kms. from Leh town.

Description:
The most
beautiful and longest trek for around 20-21 days starts
from Lamayuru, where the 10th Century's monastery is
located, around 125 Kms. from Leh Town. You can also do
this trek in 10 days finishing at Padum in Zangskar
Valley.
The trek starts from Lamayuru and it enters Zangskar
Valley passing through Wanla and the most remote
villages of Lingshed. On the 9th and 10th day, one
reaches Hanamur or Pishu via Karsha monastery to Padum
(the headquarter of Zangskar valley). After a day rest
at Padum you can proceed towards Darcha via Phuktal
monastery and high passes (Shikun La 5,100 m). The trek
finishes at Darcha village in Lahul & Spiti district
of Himachal Pradesh around 145 kms. from Manali.

Description:
Drive six hours to Tsomoriri Lake or Korzok;
headquarter of nomads via Chumathang and Mahay Bridge
along the Indus River. After a night halt start your
acclimatization walk for a day, where you can visit
Changpa nomades and have wonderful view Tsomoriri Lake.
Third you will start you trek along the Tsomoriri Lake
with beautiful landscape. The trail turns southward from
Nurboo Sumdo and start walking along Parang chu valley
towering snow Peak Mountains. Seventh day you will walk
on a glacier mountain for 3. 30 minutes to reach
Parangla 5880m. Crossing the pass the landscape suddenly
changes with high mountains of Lahul & Spiti and
Kibber viilage in Himachal Pradesh is reached after
another day trek. Your trek wonderful trek is finished
here. After the trek you can extend trip and visit Ki,
Lhalung, Pin and Tabo monasteries of Spiti Valley by
Jeep. From here we drive back to Manali and then to
Delhi to fly back home.

This is the most popular Trail into Zangskar via Shingo
La. This trek starts from famous monastery of Lamayuru
and enters Zangskar though most isolated villages of
Lingshet, Photoksar and then the headquarter of Zangskar
called Padum. Further this trek leads you to Darcha in

Description:
Lamayuru, the oldest monastery is situated on the
starting point of this trek, which finishes at Hemis the
Richest and most famous monastery of Ladakh. There are
many Passes on this trail. It passes through Hemis
national park, established to preserve snow leopard and
other wild animals. But there is only 10% chance to view
a snow leopard. Further it enters beautiful valley of
Markha, which is overshadowed by many Peaks. The high
pasturelands to graze yaks & goats are dotted with
animals.
